Meet Mo' of Mo' Cupcakes, Please!

My love for baking goes back to my childhood. I would always ride my bike to the grocery store and use my allowance to buy ingredients to bake recipes from an old cookbook my mother had.
I started Mo' Cupcakes, Please! in December 2017 with baking only cupcakes. Since then I have become a certified cake decorator and expanded beyond just simply cupcakes. I now do cakes, cookies, cheesecakes, and a variety of baked goods.
I love the joy my baked goods bring to people, their friends, and family. Whether celebrating a holiday, birthday, baby shower, or just want something sweet to have around the house.
What's your favorite thing to bake Mo?
To be honest, I don't have a favorite thing to bake. I love the creativity I get to have when someone wants to try a flavor I have not done before. It allows me to think of the best way to attenuate the flavor the customer is going for. New challenges have to be my favorite, alongside, with trying different piping techniques.
Mo' what's your favorite holiday dessert?
Christmas isn't Christmas, without red velvet!
Red velvet has to be my favorite Christmas time dessert. As a child, my grandfather would always bake a red velvet cake in December in the days leading up to Christmas. He would always give me half the cake and keep half for himself. It is one of my fondest memories and why no Christmas is complete without red velvet to me.
